The Rules:
ROUND ONE: 2 MINUTE SCENE
Participating pairs each get two minutes to perform a scene that they have prepared together.  Actors can bring props if required.  The following pair will only have the time it takes for the judges to make their assessment to set up the stage.  That would be a maximum of two minutes.  Once the judges are ready the actors must commence their performance within 15 seconds.  A bell will be rung when there is 10 seconds to go.  Actors DO NOT HAVE TO STOP WITHIN THE 2 MINUTE TIME LIMIT.  However, 2 POINTS WILL BE LOST for every 5 seconds over time.

ROUND TWO:           Roger Dray Round - A scene with NO DIALOGUE.
THIS IS A ONE-MINUTE ROUND.

Actors create or choose their own scenes. A SMALL AMOUNT OF DIALOGUE IS PERMITTED.  One of the actors may say up to 5 words.

Five bonus points are automatically added to the teams total score if the scene has NO DIALOGUE.

The order of performance for ROUND TWO will be determined randomly with names being drawn from a hat. A bell will be rung at 50 seconds (WITH 10 SECONDS TO GO).  Actors DO NOT HAVE TO STOP WITHIN THE TIME LIMIT.  However, 2 POINTS WILL BE LOST FROM THE TEAM'S SCORE for every 5 seconds over time.

ROUND THREE:         Impro Round
THIS IS A ONE-MINUTE ROUND.
The reverse performance order of Round One.  Each pair of actors will go to the stage and then be given the parameters for the impro. A bell will be rung at 50 seconds (WITH 10 SECONDS TO GO).  Actors DO NOT HAVE TO STOP WITHIN THE TIME LIMIT..  However, 2 POINTS WILL BE LOST FROM THE TEAM'S SCORE for every 5 seconds over time.
